Since 1948 the Lebecker Knabenkantorei has invited audiences to join them for their Christmas concerts at St Mary's Church in Lebeck. These invitations have brought thousands of visitors to the Hanse-city's candle-lit church every year. Readings by Bernd Schwarze and musical interludes performed by the church's organist Johannes Unger complement this recording of much-loved Christmas songs.
