Alongside Schumann, the programme includes Chopin and Liszt, and Avramovic gives this virtuoso, glittering yet profound music the breath it needs: From Schumann's contrasting characters Florestan and Eusebius to Chopin's highly emotional ballads and Liszt's multi-layered arrangements of folk music.
