Expertly cut by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios, November 2024 on a customised Neumann VMS 80 lathe at half speed using high-resolution archive transfers that were made from Eric Woolfson's rarely played mint condition duplicate masters. The first pressing comes with a numbered Obi-strip. Pressed at Optimal, Europe's premium pressing plant. The I Robot album draws conceptually on author Isaac Asimov's science fiction Robot stories, exploring philosophical themes regarding artificial intelligence. Like other Alan Parsons Project albums, there were a variety of different lead vocalists employed including Steve Harley, Allan Clarke, Lenny Zakatek, Peter Straker, Jack Harris and Jaki Whitren. Plus, a selection of session musicians such as guitarist Ian Bairnson and drummer Stuart Tosh with arrangements by Andrew Powell.
