Venezuela's geographical diversity and wealth of natural beauty is mirrored in the variety of it's music, which feeds on different roots, juggling various hellishly difficult rhythms and borrowing different themes depending on origin. The Venezuelan music collected on this GENUIN CD is a portrayal of all Latin American music: that which is great is reflected in miniature, the old in the new, the sacred in the profane. Founded in 1950, the Saxon Wind Philharmonic's high standards and artistic quality place it in demand as a guest orchestra throughout Germany and internationally.
