Many of these artists were not big names but their recordings have been proven to be highly influential to the community of Northern Soul devotees. Artists include The Whispers, Leon Haywood, Sugar Pie Desanto, Jimmy Chandler, Al "Mr. Soul" Scott, Chuck & The Daylighters, The Chosen Few, Tamala Lewis, George Kerr and many others. All selections have been newly remastered for this release.
