Details: The beautiful sound of Tone Momentum is elegant and lustrous, and the band's wide range of musical talent transcends genres. Kobayashi approached saxophonist Kenta Tsugami, and this is Tone Momentum's first album! Launched in April 2020, almost in tandem with the COVID-19 pandemic, this long-awaited album by saxophonist Kenta Tsugami and pianist Yoko Kobayashi is now in it's sixth year. This album was made possible by the two musicians, who have both had a wealth of musical experience, having overcome the difficulties they faced over a long period of time. It contains a total of 10 songs, five of which are original songs by each member, and one story emerges throughout the entire album. The free development of the piece, freed from the DUO arrangement, gives the album a sense of dynamism, silence, and thrills. The album is made even more wonderful by the Kaneda-style DSD DC recording by engineer Goto Akihiko, who intuitively and with great sense captures the vibrations of the hearts and souls of these two people, and by the beautiful photographs by photographer Takeshita Tomoya, which are so beautiful you can almost hear the sound, and the meticulous jacket design.
