Out today (1/17), the uptempo jam finds the real-life car enthusiast hard on the gas with a flirtatious throwback to the truck songs of the '90s - just with extra horsepower. Amping a high-octane mix of turbo-charged swagger, heavy-duty drums, and redlined electric guitars, the rollicking track (written by Matthew, Brock Berryhill, and Taylor Phillips) speaks to losing control in all the best ways when your girl takes the wheel. Meanwhile, "DRIVES MY TRUCK" sets the stage for Matthew to deliver his hotly anticipated upcoming album. Marking the Nashville native's third full-length studio set, CHASE, arrives on February 21 with 13 tracks like the previously released "MISSIN' ME MISSIN' YOU" and "BACKROADS OF MY MIND."
