Recorded by legendary engineer Orville O’Brien (who recorded classic 1960s jazz albums by Freddie Hubbard, Charles Tolliver and Alice Coltrane), the tape has been in DeJohnette's personal archives for nearly 60 years and is now being released for the first time.
