The golden thread that connects the past with the present and the future is SWEET veteran Andy Scott with all his determination to keep the band's musical legacy, recordings and touring at the highest level. SWEET began writing new songs for Full Circle in 2019. However, due to the pandemic, the project was put on hold and the band released Isolation Boulevard instead. This included remote recording sessions that gave the old material a new kick. The album was well received and the single Set Me Free placed in many heritage rock charts. With the Covid period of isolation behind us, SWEET began work on Full Circle again. The band's touring plans interrupted the sessions in the meantime, but the recordings were finally completed in spring 2024.
