The group was formed with an interest in interpretations of traditional Yiddish and Ukranian music in a modern light. After a series of highly successful concerts in Winnipeg, the group expanded from a trio to a quintet. The ensemble plays music from the past, with their hearts, and transforms the infinitely rich traditional klezmer catalogue into music for today.
