Details: Yoko Suzuki Trio's first album depicts various scenes with a minimal arrangement of piano, bass and drums. Yoko Suzuki's second album, a pianist and composer/arranger who is expanding her activities across countries and genres. *All songs are originals by Suzuki Yoko. *A minimalist arrangement of piano, drums and bass allows for a mixture of improvisational dialogue and compositional approaches to paint a variety of different scenes. *The sound engineer is Matsushita Shinya, who has been in charge of recording on numerous jazz albums. With a deep understanding of music and working closely with the musicians, the album produces a deep sound that feels as if it were cut out from the space. *The album cover and booklet feature paintings by the internationally active and up-and-coming artist Miyabayashi Hinako, and the design is by Tsushima Takeo, who is also active as a filmmaker and photographer. *The enclosed booklet contains liner notes by music researcher Nakanishi Mitsuo.
