Detalles: Lanzamiento navideño de dos CD. Navidad: la época del año en la que pensamos en diversión, familia y alegría, ¡y por supuesto, en reggae! Sí, a pesar de la larga asociación de esta música con el blues y el verano, la temporada festiva también es, por supuesto, una época de gran celebración en el Caribe, y desde la década de 1960 hasta la de 1980, casi todos los productores jamaicanos destacados celebraron la festividad lanzando una grabación navideña interpretada por un artista destacado. Y de todos los grandes creadores musicales de Kingston, ninguno demostró un mayor compromiso con la celebración de la Navidad que Joe Gibbs, quien entre 1978 y 1982 lanzó dos álbumes, en su mayoría compuestos por popurrís que incluían a artistas de renombre como Dennis Brown, Horace Andy, Jacob Miller, Culture, June Lodge, The Mighty Diamonds, Trinity y Sly & Robbie.
