Celebrando los 50 años de Philadelphia International Records, Love Is The Message contiene ocho álbumes en CD y un exclusivo disco de vinilo de 12", todos presentados con lujosa presentación y un libreto que narra la historia de cómo este icónico sello evolucionó en Filadelfia hasta convertirse en un sello verdaderamente internacional. Toda la música aquí presentada está remasterizada a partir de las cintas maestras originales, cortesía de Sony Music y Kenny Gamble y Leon Huff, quienes han participado personalmente en estas emblemáticas colecciones de aniversario. Love Is The Message sigue a dos lanzamientos anteriores: Get On Board The Soul Train y Satisfaction Guaranteed.
