La banda sonora incluye canciones de los sellos discográficos de Zappa, Straight y Bizarre Records, como "No Longer Umpire", del álbum debut de Alice Cooper, Pretties For You, publicado originalmente por Straight en 1969; "The Captain's Fat Theresa Shoes" de GTO's, del único álbum del grupo femenino, Permanent Damage, producido por Zappa. También incluye dos composiciones clásicas de Edgard Varèse e Igor Stravinsky, dos inspiraciones de Zappa durante toda su vida, así como varios fragmentos de entrevistas. La banda sonora se completa con 26 temas originales compuestos por John Frizzell para el documental.

También estará disponible una edición de 2 LP en vinilo transparente de 180 gramos y una edición digital de 21 pistas, que reunirá ocho de las grabaciones inéditas del archivo de Zappa, la actuación en SNL y 13 grabaciones de la extensa carrera discográfica de Zappa.
