Originally released in 1978, guitarist Mike Warren's "Please Yourself First" is one of the great obscure post bop jazz fusion albums of the 1970's, high on many a collector's list. Mike's band Survival Kit featured Tom Ranier, one of Southern California's top jazz improvisers on keyboards and bass flute; Frank Zappa alumnus Dave Parlato on bass; session great John Perret on drums and Ken Park on percussion. Finally available in the digital domain, this rare gem has been newly re-mastered.
