Detalles: Colección de dos CD de 2016 con lo más destacado de la caja recopilatoria The Early Years 1965-1972. Este doble disco contiene 27 temas (19 inéditos), incluyendo temas raros, versiones tempranas, sesiones de radio de la BBC, sencillos, caras B, remezclas y grabaciones en directo. Pink Floyd fue fundada en 1965 por los estudiantes Syd Barrett (guitarra y voz principal), Nick Mason (batería), Roger Waters (bajo y voz), y Richard Wright (teclados y voz). Alcanzaron popularidad actuando en la escena musical underground londinense a finales de los 60, y bajo el liderazgo de Barrett lanzaron dos sencillos que alcanzaron las listas de éxitos y un exitoso álbum debut, The Piper at the Gates of Dawn (1967). El guitarrista David Gilmour se unió al grupo en diciembre de 1967; Barrett abandonó la banda en abril de 1968 debido a un deterioro de su salud mental. Waters se convirtió en el letrista principal de la banda y, eventualmente, en su compositor dominante, ideando los conceptos detrás de sus lanzamientos posteriores a 1972.
