Detalles: Richard Black fue conocido como el "Rey del Sunset Strip". Shark Island también fue la banda del mundialmente famoso Gazzaris en Sunset Strip; Bill Gazzari incluso ayudó a producir su primer sencillo. Firmaron con Epic Records en 1989 y lanzaron su álbum debut, Law of the Order, que también incluyó las canciones "Dangerous" y "Father Time" en la película Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, así como "My City" de la película Point Break.
