Detalles: The Kraken Consort nació en 2021 de la imaginación de tres músicos, amigos y colegas: el tiorbista Bruno Helstroffer, la soprano Chantal Santon Jeffery y el tenor Robert Getchell, entusiasta de la música celta. Comparten el gusto por la música tradicional oral e improvisada, y deseaban colaborar con instrumentistas con una profunda experiencia en música tradicional: Ronan Pellen (cistre), Brewen Favrau (gaitero), Sylvain Barou, David Lombardi y Laurene Durantel. Para su álbum debut, Kraken Consort retoma la tradición musical irlandesa y escocesa.
