A second edition, after the original VMP Anthology debut in 2019, telling the story of Blue Note’s six eras via a 6-album, 7LP set, the second edition of The Story of Blue Note Records has a brand new box design, and is pressed at (RTI) Record Technology Incorporated.  Hand numbered, out of 1000.

All six albums in VMP Anthology were remastered by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio, and pressed at RTI on high quality 180g black vinyl. The first five albums are from the master tapes. The sixth album was remastered from highest quality digital source.

VMP later shipped a replacement jacket printed using higher quality and correct original LP artwork and with the full original liner notes. A complete set will contain both jackets.
