After their successful Mozart album, here is a further triumph for Riccardo Minasi and the Ensemble Resonanz, as they give the Eroica back it's original modernity: it's cutting edge. Their reading, based on the most recent sources and research, restores the radical nature of the work - one that has revolutionized formal thinking ever since it's creation. With it's fissures, tensions and sheer daring, this interpretation breaks with all norms to reveal a symphony of visionary scope.
