One of the most popular R&B singers of all time, Lloyd Price first struck big with "Lawdy Miss Clawdy" in 1952 but truly hit his stride when he refined the New Orleans sound of the late 1950's and 1960's with a string of hits including "Stagger Lee" and his signature song "Personality" which forever earned him the title "Mr. Personality." Presented here is Lloyd's rare classic 1978 full length album entitled "The Nominee," featuring his trademark New Orleans R&B groove. All selections have been newly remastered.
