    詳細: 1981年のモーターヘッドは両極端のバンドだった。成功へのノンストップの祝賀と過酷な労働が混在し、バンド間の火薬庫のようなダイナミクスがそれを強調していた。『Ace Of Spades』をレコーディングした後、このアルバムは全英4位に急上昇した。オーヴァーキルとボマーが重要な基礎を築いた後の決定的なブレイクスルーであり、1980年後半の『Ace Up Your Sleeve』全英ツアーは栄誉の凱旋ツアーとなり、そのまま『No Sleep 'Til Hammersmith』のレコーディングへと繋がった。アルバムのタイトルは、トラックの1台に描かれた銘文に由来しており、わずか2日間の休みで32回のギグをこなしたことに由来している。トラックリストには最終的に『Ace Of Spades』から3曲、『Overkill』から5曲、『Bomber』のタイトル曲、そしてセルフタイトルのデビューアルバムから2曲が収録された。 1981年6月27日にリリースされたこのアルバムについて、レミーは「ライブが一番うまくいくと分かっていた。だって、僕らは真のライブバンドだから。レコードを聴いて僕らの真髄を知ることはできない。ぜひライブで見てほしい」と語っている。リリースと同時に『No Sleep 'Til Hammersmith』は彼らにとって初にして唯一のイギリス国内チャート1位を獲得し、今でも最も必要とされるライブアルバムとなっている。アルバム『No Sleep 'Til Hammersmith』は、オリジナルテープから完全リマスターされた。新たに発掘された未発表コンサート「Short Sharp Pain In The Neck」のライブアルバム3枚組CDを収録。ボックスセットには、28ページのブックレット、ポスター、ピック、ツアーパス、チケット、フライヤー、バッジが同梱されている。
