El cantante, compositor y productor de Nueva Orleans es una leyenda de la música negra, autor de canciones como «Working In The Coal Mine» (Lee Dorsey), «Pain In My Heart» (Otis Redding), «Lipstick Traces» (The O'Jays) y «Fortune Teller» (Benny Spellman). Toussaint ha colaborado con prácticamente todos, desde The Meters hasta Paul McCartney.
