Forward thinking as German techno, but Technicolor as UK Bass - tendrils of rich melody tangle themselves with angular rhythmic shifts, the music balances the impenetrability of the post-dubstep fray with shades of proto-house and ambient techno. Points of reference lie in the functional, cinematic experimentalism of Ricardo Villalobos, Actress, and Plaid.
