Gerald Eckert's third release on Mode is a 2-CD set of mostly works for orchestra, often with electronics.Eckert says: "I am fascinated by orchestral works containing the structures of chamber music. Gulbenkian Prize, Portugal 1993; the Kranichstein Prize, Darmstadt 1996; 1st prize in Bourges 2003, and 1st prize at the Stuttgart Composition Competition 2005.
