El clásico de Jethro Tull de 1970, Benefit, se celebrará en un nuevo pack de 4 CD y 2 DVD, con remezclas de Steven Wilson y abundante material inédito, todo ello en un libro de tapa dura de lujo con 100 páginas de comentarios de numerosos colaboradores, además de multitud de imágenes de la banda creando e interpretando su primer álbum con un millón de ventas. Benefit (Edición Mejorada del 50.º Aniversario) saldrá a la venta el 5 de noviembre.

Tras los éxitos This Was (1968) y Stand Up (1969), Jethro Tull regresó en 1970 con su tercer álbum de estudio en otros tantos años.

Benefit (The 50th Anniversary Enhanced Edition) contiene una gran cantidad de material ampliado, basado en los remixes de Steven Wilson de 2013. El CD3 contiene un remix inédito de Steven Wilson de Jethro Tull tocando en Tanglewood en 1970. Además, el CD4 contiene una versión remasterizada de un concierto en The Aragon Ballroom en 1970 en mono.
