Sashasonia is a New York based acoustic power duo, formed in 2011 by Sasha Markovic ( guitar ) and Sonia Choi ( cello/vocals). Since they started their sessions in late 2011, Sashasonia wrote over 30 tracks, of which 15 appear on their self-titled debut. Recorded in Z Studios, Brooklyn and released on February 29, 2012, the album provides an unique blend of diverse musical styles such as world, classical and folk.
