Este álbum en directo y la película del concierto que lo acompaña (disponible por separado) fueron recibidos como una revelación cuando aparecieron en 1996. No solo tenemos a los Stones con Brian Jones, ocho meses antes de su muerte, sino también actuaciones perdidas de The Who, Taj Mahal, Marianne Faithfull, el supergrupo improvisado Dirty Mac (John Lennon, Keith Richards, Eric Clapton y Mitch Mitchell), Yoko Ono, Jethro Tull... todo ello grabado en un estudio del norte de Londres en diciembre de 1968. Estos asombrosos documentos regresan aquí en audio de alta resolución; la espontaneidad y el espíritu comunitario de la época dominan el proceso, mientras escuchas el lanzamiento original, además de material recién descubierto y actuaciones inéditas.
