    詳細： CD2枚組。デジタルリマスターと拡張版を収録。1976年の人気アルバムがCDデビュー。ほとんどの曲がCD初収録。70年代半ばのレゲエの名曲の数々を収録。1968年後半に音楽制作の世界に足を踏み入れたアルヴィン・“GG”・ラングリンは、瞬く間にジャマイカ音楽業界のトップクラスへと上り詰め、70年代半ばにはジャマイカ屈指の音楽プロデューサーとしての地位を確固たるものにしました。レゲエ界での彼の地位を反映して、ロンドンを拠点とする大手レコード会社 Trojan Records は、Ranglin の最高傑作の契約を獲得し、彼の音楽を多数の 7 インチ シングルや LP コンピレーション アルバムでリリースしました。その最新作が、ジャマイカの最高のボーカルと楽器の才能を誇る LP「Atlantic 1」で、1975 年に同社傘下の Horse からリリースされました。このアルバムはレゲエ マニアの間で人気があったにもかかわらず、それ以来ほとんど見過ごされてきましたが、この待望の 2CD コレクションでようやく再び入手可能になりました。このコレクションをさらに充実させるのは、アルバムのトラックのダブ カットを含む多数のボーナス トラックと、1975 年の英国の会社 Trojan の劇的な終焉前に Ranglin が Trojan に提供した最高のトラックを紹介するディスク 1 枚で、ほとんどの録音がこのセットで初めて CD 化されます。
