    詳細：フォーブス・ファミリー・トレジャリー 第2巻 / これらの録音は1980年代に制作されました。当時、ペンシルベニア出身のこのファミリーグループは、まだ成功を目指していたばかりでした。2人の兄弟（ホーマーとジェイ）と2人の姉妹（リサとロリ）は、まだ10代半ばでした。マーシャル・ファミリーの影響を強く受けたフォーブスは、故郷ペンシルベニアとノースカロライナの両方で、少数ながらも熱心なファンを獲得しました。この素晴らしい18曲集（未発表曲3曲を含む）は、アカペラの「Talk About Suffering」や、真に壮大な「Blessed Assurance」など、どの曲も美しいハーモニーの逸品です。「A Prairie Home Companion」への出演やヨーロッパツアーのオファーなど、比較的短い活動期間を経て、メンバーは静かに引退し、家庭を築きました。
