Details: The release of Onward marks the occasion of NYC based alto saxophonist Peter DiCarlo's first solo album release. The album is named to signify a departure from the past, and realization of what is possible in the future. Onward is the culmination of years of intention, planning and execution. As a musician, educator and father, everything seemed to be a reason to hold back and not make this album. Perseverance, sacrifice and good fortune were involved to see this project through.
