DESCRIPTION
With the accession of Frederick III. Of Brandenburg-Bayreuth and his wife Wilhelmina of Prussia (the sister of Frederick the Great) began a brief cultural flowering of the small principality. As well as enthusiastic talented musician could from 1734 with Johann Pfeiffer (1697-1761) an outstanding man bind to their court, whose music has been so far observed by posterity only because little because many of his works are lost or lost today.
