Details: From 1983, these are the last known recordings from Rock 'n' Roll pioneer, "Big" Joe Turner. Recorded at the Music Machine, Santa Monica California. Joe was inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame in 1987 and is also a member of the Blues Hall of Fame (1983). All-Star band includes New Orleans Legend Lee Allen, Steve Berlin and fellow Blues Hall of Famer, Eddie "Cleanhead" Vinson on vocals on two tracks. Features many of Joe's songs that became Rock 'n' R roll standards including 'Shake, Rattle and Roll' and 'Honey Hush'.
