Details: Limited seven CD set. This box set combines 7 albums from the bands career featuring a new interview with Rich Davenport for the booklet's notes. Audio has been re-mastered from original tapes wherever possible and whole package is housed in a 7" x 7" set. Limited edition 1,000 signed insert. The new Gillan 7-CD box set offers a comprehensive collection of the band's work during the years from 1978 to 1982, when they rose to prominence in the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) scene. The set includes seven albums from this era, featuring studio recordings, a live album, and a wealth of B-sides and bonus material. The albums featured in this set are as follows: Gillan (The Japanese Album), Mr. Universe, Glory Road, Future Shock, Double Trouble, Magic, Double Trouble Live (1980-1981). The collection includes a new interview with Ian Gillan conducted by Rich Davenport, providing deeper insights into the band's history and the albums. The audio has been remastered from the original tapes where possible, ensuring high-quality sound. The packaging is designed in a 7" x 7" format, with 32-page booklet, offering a unique visual presentation for collectors. This set is a valuable offering for fans of Gillan and collectors of rock history, especially from the era of NWOBHM, showcasing the evolution of a band led by one of rock's iconic vocalists.
