It follows-up their 2012 studio album, an alter ego split EP and the 2016 score for Couple In A Hole. #definitely sounds like a step forward and finds the band continuing to forge their own genre of oddness. The production and feel of the first two albums was like listening through frosted glass; a band playing behind a curtain. Now we hear Beak in sharp focus, but without forfeiting what the band see as it's 'wrongness'.
