Greetings! This is Charley 'speaking.' After leaving a budding career in architecture, I've been a touring musician now for 28 years to various spiritual gatherings, retreats and New Thought churches around the U.S. and beyond, including five continents. My latest CD is a 15 track collection of the newest energies, that have come through me on this amazing journey. Many of these songs came during several Healing In Paradise retreats (wiseworldseminars.com) in Sicily. And many came during various Couples In Paradise retreats (sharedheart.org) in Hawaii. It seems that the music portals open up for me in both of these 'Paradise' settings, and as a result our story gets told in song. I notice in concert that people are especially responding to the songs Wave After Wave, It's What You Are, Heaven Opens To You, Opening, Golden Essence and Float Me Away. Every song on this CD seems to tap into a higher dimension, where all is well and we are truly joined. That's really where this music come from, and so it carries and emanates that energy with every listening. My approach in the studio was to stay fairly close to how I sound as a solo artist in concert. Then we added a few touches here and there on most but not all of the songs. And we brought in background singers to recreate the audience feeling that happens in concert, because I'm all about us singing together on lots of choruses and chants. My concerts are not about you being quiet and listening to me for two hours. Far from it. They are group joining events with music as the vehicle for us to open our hearts as one.
