DESCRIPTION
Early innovators of the Washington DC go-go funk sound; Chuck Brown & The Soul Searchers developed a sub-genre of funk music in the mid to late 1970's that sparked a new movement and put Washington, D.C. on the musical map soul music wise. The late guitarist and singer Chuck Brown is considered the godfather of the movement and his influence has been felt by generations of musicians in the D.C. area and beyond. Presented here is Brown's classic 12" single originally released in 1984, "We Need Some Money," featuring the original 12" mix plus 2 bonus radio mixes. Newly remastered.
