Complex legal entanglements slowed progress until a different label, EMI America at last released the retitled album, 'Scuba Divers' in the summer of 1982. Yet Dwight never stopped writing and cutting throughout the enforced interval since his 1979 solo debut, 'Twilley'. Along the path, dozens of his very best songs and performances came in and out of consideration as numerous album sequences were compiled then recompiled. Now, 25 essential songs from years of studio work paint a fuller picture of Dwight Twilley at a peak of creativity.
