It's no wonder. Felipe has been playing professionally since 1950 and he shows no signs of slowing. Perez has carried on the tunes and style of his mentor, Juan Lopez, a master of Corpus Christi style Conjunto accordion. Texas en Polka highlights Felipe's skill not only as a masterful player but as a composer of excellent, traditional style accordion pieces.
