Details: Originally released on the Catalyst jazz label in 1976, this jam session record features performances by 2 great American jazz saxophonists - Sonny Stitt and Red Holloway. Stitt and Holloway were play-ing together on and off since at least 1967. On this record, Stitt sticks to tenor sax while Holloway alternates between tenor and alto. Stitt and Holloway share many great moment in this record including a ballad medley and a combative performance on the title cut "Forecast: Sonny & Red".
