Many instantly responded to "The Breakup Song," calling the anthemic tune that sings about breaking up with fear "uplifting, hope-inspiring and empowering," with one fan even writing, "Halfway through my first time hearing it I purchased the song. Battistelli has also been waiting a long time to share these new songs, recently sharing that she had new songs ready for an album two years ago.
