Not wanting to completely abandon the project however, he's decided to unveil two brand new songs for this upcoming Record Store Day as a double A-side single. Michael & Me is the story of two friends who meet for a weekend in New York City, creating a loving memory that will forever outlast the eventual fading of their friendship. Giving Up Is Not The Easiest Way Out finds a generous narrator trying his best to help someone through a difficult time. Both songs highlight what Jaws of Love does best, finding growth in pain through the melding of his voice and the piano.
