One is an actress, author and performer; the other is a composer and musician. Véronique Lechat and Julien Omé met as teenagers and developed a friendship and artistic passion in the nighttime glow of the summer moons. This satellite that gave them so much in the past, this ally that brought them together, is the same one that gave birth to them, in the LPs of Pink Moon, Nick Drake's masterpiece. Moonkiddo, the night owl, hatches. On a Silver Edge, the first musical showcase of the children of the moon, combines the musical influences of folk and indie rock (Sufjan Stevens, Bonnie 'Prince' Billie) with cinematic references (Angelo Badalamenti). The melodies mingle with the rhythms, textures and tessituras of the songs, which the duo prefers in English. The ten tracks of the album, in balance between light and shadow, offer a time of journey, of reflection on the inner transformations and the road that carries them.
