Cool grooves, atmospheric samples, the clear voice of a solitary trumpet, now keenly articulated now longingly whispering... Anybody who gives this production some attention will understand why producer and bass guitarist Dal Martino and his partner, the prominent trumpet player Reiner Winterschladen, have chosen the programmatic name of "Nighthawks" for their first joint project as a duo.
