Candice Hoyes, Mimi Jones, and Val Jeanty - the visionary forces behind Nite Bjuti - are architects of a new New York City sound. United by a boundary-pushing spirit, they fuse turntables, rhythmic bass, and poetic lyricism to honor the community and lineage of the Caribbean diaspora. Born from reflections on love and communal resilience, Minwi looks toward a future rooted in empathy and mutual care. They treat the creation of 'home' as an ongoing, collective practice - a necessary response to the systemic challenges and displacement currently facing Black, Brown, and immigrant communities across the globe.
