Amores Perros is considered by many specialists to be a watershed in Latin American cinema, given the number of stars gathered to its credit. In addition to the music of the prolific composer, musician, and producer Gustavo Santaolalla, it features the participation of different groups who made original pieces inspired by the work of Alejandro González Iñárritu (director and writer) and Guillermo Arriaga (writer), all under the musical supervision of Lynn Fainchtein.
