DESCRIPTION
Details: Quicksilver Messenger Service (QMS) was a psychedelic rock band from San Francisco, known for their bluesy jams and folk-rock style. Formed in 1965, they played alongside legends like the Grateful Dead and Jefferson Airplane. Their most acclaimed album, Happy Trails (1969), featured the 25-minute "Who Do You Love Suite." Though not as commercially successful as some peers, QMS remains a cult favorite for their influence on psychedelic rock and jam bands. In 1970, QMS spent time in Hawaii, where they recorded Just for Love and What About Me. During that period, they performed a now-legendary concert, recorded with high-quality sound by the Grateful Dead's mobile studio. A special vinyl edition of this Hawaiian 1970 concert is now available, featuring: Superb audio quality, rare live tracks like "Warm Red Wine" and "Mojo", plus a 24-page photo booklet with never-before-seen images from the era, sourced from the Gary Duncan Archive. This vinyl release is a must-have for fans and collectors.
