Sarah Buechi hasexpanded this ensemble with the chamber orchestra of theJena Philharmonic. The success of the first performance wasoverwhelming and the recordings on this album, which also tookplace in Jena, enable one to experience and relive the playfulease with which this ambitious project was accomplished.Classical intonation, Jazz vocalisations, chanting, microtonesreminiscent of Indian music and Konnakol, rhythmicvocalisation - all these elements exist companionably in thecompositions.
