DESCRIPTION
Details: This 1955 recording opens with several tracks of Merry-Go-Round music followed by interviews and noises from other fair rides. The sounds were collected by a group of students from the Chicago Institute of Design for a documentary film about the Royal American Midway and capture the fun and energy encountered at a Carnival. The liner notes include history of Carnivals along with detailed information about each track (and ride.)
