Included are selections from the songbook of Hawaiian classics that Kale and Matt have enjoyed since childhood. The duo has been blessed by mentors who have added depth to their worldview. E Ho'i Mai also features original compositions of two kumu hula (hula teacher) who have shared generously, Kawaikapuokalani Hewett and S. Maka Herrod. Hawaiian language scholar and Nä Hökü Hanohano Award winning composer Puakea Nogelmeier has also contributed a new composition.
